Everybody give a shout out

This is probably my last post before we leave the country. (Unless I do some more playing to find the best way to upload photos.) So I thought I would explain a little about how this blog works.

First, we will be posting as often as possible to keep everyone up on our journey. Second, we don't know how often that will be.

Links and e-mail

On the right side of your screen you will find some links that we recently added, Info on Kazakhstan plus the local weather in Kaz so you can see what it's like where we are. Also you will see our e-mail address. It is not the one you might be used to using but we aren't sure we can check our regular mail so if you want to reach us, use samdunning@yahoo.com there is a link to it on our profile.

Posting Comments

The most recent post will always be at the top but all the posts will stay up for the duration of our trip. If you will look at the bottom of EACH post there is a place for comments. Just hit that button and a screen will come up so you can read other peoples comments on that day or post one of your own.

1. Type in your message

2. click the button that says OTHER and

3. sign your name on the line so we know who left the comment.

4. When your done click publish and your comment will be added to the page. Sometimes this takes a few minutes.

We will try to respond to every message but it may take us some time because our connection will be much slower than the dial up connection that we have here in the US. Also our time will be somewhat occupied taking care of Elizabeth and Andrew.

PLEASE, PLEASE comment!! YOU don't have to comment on what we post. You can tell us what you did for the day. Volleyball, golf, church, school, work, weather, it really doesn't matter to us. We will be desperate to stay in touch with home, family, and friends. Remember, everyone there speaks Russian or Kazakh. Holly and I do not.

About the Shout Out

Keep us in your prayers. Remember that we will probably not post again or even be able to see the blog until very close to next weekend. IT WOULD BE VERY NICE TO SEE A BUNCH OF COMMENTS AND SHOUT OUTS WHEN WE DO LAND IN THAT COUNTRY SO FAR AWAY FROM HOME

SO IF YOU READ THIS (EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW US VERY WELL) POST A COMMENT AT LEAST THIS ONCE SO WE CAN SEE WHO IS FOLLOWING OUR JOURNEY

Love to you all,,,,Sam, Holly, Elizabeth, Andrew & Baby

Wow! To have followed this journey is truly a gift. I have enjoyed interceding in prayer for you both and for your children chosen by the hand of God himself. I'm reminded of a passage in one of my bible studies that referred to spiritual mothering. As little girls, we long for the children that look just like us... they have our eyes, our nose or our hair color. But, as life progresses, some of our dreams aren't realized as we expected them. However, the glorious news is that in the waiting, God is at work, bringing to pass His perfect plan, not our good one. When the dream is finally realized, we find our prayer has changed, as we wish for our children to reflect more of Him, the true giver of life, and less of us. May God bless with abundance these two gifts He has given you. May He anoint them with the sweetest of testimonies in the years to come, and may you continue in His strength and courage to raise them in the love and knowledge of their Lord. Have a BLAST picking up your children! I’ll be watching the site! Much Love!

Michelle,
Sam and I both greatly appreciate your prayers on our behalf. We had watched God work in so many ways throughout our adoption process that we know without doubt many people have been remembering us in prayer. We can never thank-you enough, I am thankful for your friendship. with love, Holly
