2 flights down, one to go
The first 2 legs of the journey are out of the way. Holly and I now sit in the Amsterdam airport. We didn't think we would get to update this quick and we know this isn't the update everyone is waiting on. Pictures of the kids will come very soon now.
The first flight was definitely the most interesting one of the 2. It only lasted about 50 minutes but what a ride. we sat in the 2nd row behind 2 business men who kept making wise cracks. The actual flight is hard to describe. We had no windows at our seat so we couldn't see what was going on. But it felt something like riding a mini bike will seated in a trashcan. Man was it loud, and bumpy but the ride really took a turn when some cat from the back of the plane came forward to reveal something had died in his bowels. (the business mans words, not mine.) The bathroom was between us and the pilots. The stewardess kept pumping out the spray but she couldn't kill it. finally the pilots called her to find out what the problem was. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do. By the way, did I mention the heat!!!!!!!! We all sweated through everthing we had.
The second flight was a breeze. 8 hours of luxury. Inflight movies, supper, breakfast and best of all nothing died on this trip! The picture shows a view from our seat. (9 seats wide)
You will see a picture of me eating a value meal. And what a value only 8.45 Euro or $13.80 in Americanyets dollars.
)
Holly took a picture of a few things in the airport for your enjoyment. A plane similar to what we will be flying on Etc.
Mom, Dad, Tommy, Gail, Sara, Emily, Whitney,& Eric. For coming to the airport to see us off we say (on the trash can)

Hey! I may have already e-mailed you this message, but I am going to try again. I am so excited you are having a good trip, sorry the first one was rough. But, oh, those sweet ones are going to be worth it. Hope you enjoyed the value meal and I am sure the tip was included in that price (he he he). Praying for your journey and can't wait to see and hear more. Love you both...Christy
I think I have figured this out, he he. I won't be anonymous anymore....Christy
Just checking in... I love all the pictures! You're getting closer and closer. Just think, on the way back, you get to buy 4 of those "value" meals... Dad! This is so much fun to check in... it's like "Where's Waldo" or "Carmen San Diego" or something! Be Blessed!
I didn't expect to find anything today, but so glad that I got on & checked. Sounds like a "fun" trip so far. Thank goodness that the kids won't be big enough to eat Happy Meals yet, or you guys would go bust there!!! :) Can't wait to hear more.
Love from KY,
