A few more answers
I hear some of you are wondering why the kids have hats on. Well that is the least of their worries. They bundle these kids like they are going to Alaska and they frown at us if we try to cool them off. The temp here is not as hot as at home (80-85) and at night it is cool (low 60's). They have 2 or three pair of pants on plus socks plus layers of shirts. And when we come, diapers. The poor things look like they have a heat rash from their necks down. I don't know why they don't put scarves on them and just get it over with. We sneak the hats off for brief periods of time (like when we feed them, we claim they get in the way. These kids sweat constantly and So do the caretakers, B.O.)
Dad, Walking is an ok option but remember, sometime you have to cross the street!!! and I didn't begin to describe the city drivers. Where we travel to is out of the city about an hour. I will see if our driver will stop and let me take pictures of the mountains near where our children were born. It's awesome.
We're off to see the kids:O)
PS mom and Dad I will try to call you in the next few days but will post here to find out if you will be home. Holly is going to try to call Tommy and Gail today.

Hello
Always glad for the info, but I did miss my pictures
:(
Thanks for taking the time to send us so much!! I am on the computer now more than ever before in my life!!!
I took the opportunity to show everyone who was at the house tonight (about 37 including children) all the wonderful pictures. They loved seeing you, Holly and the babies. Lot's of questions...I was happy to answer all I could.
Did I mention tonight was a pool party? Did I also mention we had a thunderstorm? Doesn't it always work like that? Had a blast anyway.
It does seem wierd to be going to bed, knowing you are just getting up. Does that mean Andrew and Elizabeth will have their days and nights mixed up once they get here? Fun, Fun!!
More than likely you will all have your days and nights mixed up!
Love and Prayers times 2

sam and holly:just checking before i went to bed. Its always a thrill to find you have posted.we are all sure enjoying your journey. hopefully you can put aside the stress and enjoy it too. I gather that you are.hug the babies for us and be careful. dads are always supposed to tell you to be careful.love, poppy
Ofcourse those babies have a heat rash. Mammy used to talk about old timers that would keep babies covered up, head and all. You could go visit them on the fourth of July and they would pull back the cover so you could get a peek and cover them back up. When you get them out of there you can do better.
A plus, they will smell better....smile
They will feel better too.
Boy are those babies lives going to change....Love ya lots Nanny
Sam & Holly, those babies are BEAUTIFUL!! Sara showed us the pictures while we were at their house tonight. As soon as I got my girls to bed, I had to get on and read all about them. Seems like only yesterday our girls were that small. Now Hannah is in 4th grade and Ellie is starting Kindergarden! Time flies--enjoy every moment! We'll be praying and checking back soon.
Jeff, Steph, Hannah, and Ellie
Sure, I'd love to hear your voice, Son,but sure am enjoying hearing from you this way. It's probably better than being there (smile). I keep going back to the pictures...the cloths hanging on the line and the "outdoor privy". Would you call that a 6 holer? They take me back to my childhood. And pictures is the only way to go there...keep smiling!
I'm trying to type this quietly cause Pop is asleep, thought I might actually beat him to the next message. :-) Love and Kisses to you all. Oh, yes, have you found the food?
Hey guys,
Don't know which you need more, some real food or a case of Sure (strong enough for a man but made for a woman). We love hearing about your adventures. Bet you never thought so many people would hang on your every type written word. Going to have to get those babies back here and introduce them to some good ole Kentucky shorts and tank tops. Take care, K,C,P,M
for crying out loud, its 7:26am. your mother has been checking since 4:30.you think all we got to do is check this thing? just kidding. Or am i? You all have spoiled us with your timely reports and pictures. This is more fun than i would have thought. As Kent said a lot of us have been following your ever move and awaiting more news to follow. love poppy
Holly - what a birthday present! We just got back into town on vacation - your children are absolutely amazing - what a precious gift from God. I do not believe in coincidences, either. You both look so at ease with your babies - I can't wait for you to bring them home!!! We are praying faithfully for your children, their health, adjustments, your safety, and for your bonding (which looks to be going wonderfully from the pictures!!). Thank you for all the updates!
Love you guys,
Ronnie & Tish
Hi guys, just heard about the country you are in,on "Mission Networt News" on 89.3. We pray all is going well. Always remember, "He is able to do more than we can ask or even imagine." I know you have already seen this, but he has more in store for you!
Love,
John
Hi guys!!! I am so loving hearing all of your news.. Putt, Emme, and I are praying for you and the babies... Can't wait till you all come home.. Big BBQ in order once your home and settled. Cindy Hahn
Kent, I would choose the food. This whole place stinks. I was kidding Holly that when we got home and were met at the airport, Everyone would suddenly decide that we must be very tired and they shouldn't come over until later (After we had showers) We stink!!!
Sara, Mom, and Dad,
You will probably find we do most of our posting before 8am here (9 pm there) before we go to the babyhouse. and After 8pm here (9 am there) I think.
Sorry for skipping pictures this morning but we were in a hurry. And I'm sure you all know that I am trying to write most of this tongue in cheek for fun because Beside from the Smell, the food, the driving and not even being able to communicate even the simplest phrases, this place is great. :O)sis I could use a good dip in that pool myself. Love to you all.
PS. John these people could use some mission work. It is a very worldly place.
